Background:

Dragon Palm Kung Fu is an eclectic martial art based on simplicity. In the beginning, movements are
large and elaborate, but with time, movements become small yet very powerful. Basing its principals on
the traditional 5 animals of Shaolin (tiger, dragon, snake, crane and leopard), Dragon Palm Kung Fu is a
collection of martial arts techniques and philosophies designed to render any opponent powerless.
Utilizing strikes, kicks, joint manipulations, throws and such, Dragon Palm Kung Fu is an effective martial
art for people of all ages, shapes and sizes to enjoy.

Influences:

Dragon Palm Kung Fu has been influenced by a number of martial arts styles such as Tai Chi Chuan,
Bagua Zhang and Xing Yi Chuan. Dragon Palm Kung Fu has also been influenced by southern Chinese
martial arts and has incorporated many southern martial arts forms and techniques into the system as
well as Japanese martial arts styles such as Aikido and Jujitsu to name a few. Having a broad perspective
of the martial arts, Dragon Palm Kung Fu is flexible in its approach to self-defense making it a difficult
system to overcome.
